"TWO-DAY “CAST AND BLAST”

WHAT    One day fully guided upland bird hunting with Skip Geer and his dogs, on the Mayville Flat Hunting Preserve. The next day a fully guided steelhead or smallmouth bass trip with Steve Fleming of Mah-Hah Outfitters on the scenic John Day River.  Start your two- day adventure with Skip Geer at the Mayville Flat Hunting Preserve (located 2 ½ hours from Portland, Bend, or Pendleton) at 10:00 AM.  Skip will release your choice of seven (7) pheasant roosters or ten (10) chukars (or a mix of the two birds).  Have dinner at Mayville Flat Clubhouse. Start Day Two with a lite breakfast at Steve’s house in Fossil at 6:00 AM, and then head out for a day of fishing on one of Steve’s private access sections of the John Day River.

WHERE   Mayville Flat Hunting Preserve is located within Skip’s family’s 6000+ acre high desert ranch between Condon and Fossil.  It is a beautiful setting.  You can see Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Hood, and Mt. Adams from the property, and it offers easy rolling hills to hunt.  Mah-Hah Outfitters is headquartered in Fossil, Oregon, and Steve will be taking you to one of his private accesses on the John Day River.

This special is available September 1 – March 31^st for a maximum of four (4) clients a day

What you need to provide:  Oregon Hunting Preserve license ($10.50/day) and Fishing license ($12.00/day), your own gun and shotgun shells, your transportation (we can arrange for someone to pick you up at Condon’s airport, Pauling Field), and your lodging and dinners.

"IRON-MAN “CAST AND BLAST”

 WHAT WOULD THE IRON-MAN CAST AND BLAST BE?

 WHERE WOULD THE IRON-MAN CAST AND BLAST BE?  It would be on the nationally acclaimed John Day River in North Central Oregon.  You would start your trip in Fossil, Oregon, home of Mah-Hah Outfitters.  You would be floating 43 miles on the hard to get at section of the wild and scenic John Day River. 

WHEN WOULD THE IRON-MAN CAST AND BLAST BE?  The trip would be in late October, November, December or January.

 WHAT WOULD THE IRON-MAN CAST AND BLAST INCLUDE?    Mah-Hah Outfitters would take care of all the food, fishing tackle, deluxe camping equipment (including propane shower), river rafting gear, and lots of picture taking opportunities for this trip of a lifetime.  You would need to provide an Oregon hunting and fishing license, gun, shells, hunting dog, fishing poles, sleeping bag and air mattress.
