Mah-Hah Outfitters offers so many
different trips and trips and packages that it is impossible to
cover everything here, but we have tried to list most of the
services and give you an idea of basic costs.
MAH-HAH OUTFITTERS

A list of bed and breakfasts,
motels, and RV parks will be sent to you if you plan to come
to the area the night (or day or two) before your trip.

Breakfast will be waiting the
morning of your trip; after which you will depart from one
of Steve's public or private put-ins, depending upon the
section to be fished and the time of year.

You will fish and enjoy the
scenery all morning, and then take time for a Dutch-oven
prepared lunch cooked right in your boat!

On to more fishing, and then a
midday snack of Dutch-oven prepared cobbler.

More Fishing right up to
take-out time. If it's a multi-day trip, you got it - more
mouthwatering food! The camp is set up for you (all you had
to bring was your own sleeping bag.

TWO-DAY "CAST AND BLAST"
WHAT:
One day fully guided
upland bird hunting with Skip Geer on Mayville Flat
Shooting Preserve. The next day a fully guided
steelhead or smallmouth bass trip with Steve Fleming
of Mah-Hah Outfitters on the scenic John Day River.
Start your two-day adventure at Mayville Flat
Shooting Preserve (located just 2.5 hours from
Portland, Bend, or Pendleton) about 10:00 AM. Spend
the day hunting pheasants or chukars with Skip and
his pointing dogs over a variety of natural habitat.
After a hearty country dinner, spend a relaxing
evening in Mayville Flats' clubhouse. Start Day Two
with a full continental breakfast at Steve's house
in Fossil at 6 AM then head out for a full day of
fishing on one of Steve's private access sections on
the "wild and scenic" John Day River.

Mayville Flat
Shooting Preserve is located between Condon and
Fossil on Skip's family's 6000+ acre high desert
ranch. The property boasts two separate 1280 acre
licensed shooting preserves. The terrain and habitat
vary from gentlemanly to very challenging, offering
an enjoyable day of wing shooting to hunters of all
abilities. Skip also offers a challenging Sporting
Clay Range to sharpen your shooting skills ($15 for
50 clays or $25 for 100 clays).
Mah-Hah Outfitters is headquartered in Fossil, Oregon,
just fifteen minutes from Mayville Flat. Steve will
be taking you out to one of his private access
sections on the John Day River where you will be
guaranteed to land a fish!

This special is available September 1st through
March 31st for a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4
clients per day. All you will need to provide is
your shotgun, shells, transportation and Oregon
hunting and fishing license. Skip can sell a special
shooting preserve permit in place of regular hunting
license ($6.00 for resident, $12.50 for nonresident;
One day fishing license, $16.50/day, must be purchased
at an ODFW outlet).

Deluxe Overnight Camping Trips
$350 per person per day
We offer two, three, four day
or more days of
fully guided overnight fish catching trips on the
John Day River. These are deluxe in every way, and
they can be a mix of fishing on the John Day River,
private largemouth lake, or private trout lake.
So.... a four-day trip could be four days fishing
the scenic John Day River; or two days fishing on
the John Day River for smallmouth bass, one day
fishing for largemouth bass, and the last day
fishing for trophy trout. What’s included:
